Serpent chief designer and former World and European Champion Michael Salven is the subject of Red RC's second series of Pro Tips. In this five part how-to, the German runs us through the preparation of his Serpent 966, this episode focusing on the first setup steps, including setting the droop, ride height and camber. The remaining video in this series will focus on the completing the setup steps and finally tweaking the chassis, getting it ready for racing.

  • @infoplasma if the track has more right turns, then the left side will wear more and differently as well.

    I know this is old, but hey, question answered.

  • one question, why the different camber angle between the right and left side? does this depends on the track, on the weight distribution, or what? thx
