Recorded directly from Yamaha 01v96 with their own reverbs and compressors, no final remastering. The XBase was sequenced in pattern mode (parameter locks), and has my own samples edited for 8bits. Samples are hihats, congas, ride, snare and clap. Bassdrum is the main Jomox analog BD. Pad is a sampled string played on ESI-32. FX-Bass comes from Evolver.

I have the memory fully upgraded on the one I have purchased and it has the SCSI socket to the rear.. fun times ahead I hope. Also just purchased the Yamaha rm1x and yamaha sy-22

  • it s a great piece of equipment. if you can upgrade the memory or add a hard disk .. better. the samplig capabilties are superb , and so is the editing.

i particulary loved the dopeler effects. mine is stuck in a box, ..but next year its coming back due to house renovation.

  • I've just bought the emu (literally 10 minutes ago on Ebay) ESI32. I'd appreciate any comments you have to make about it.
