Ramadan Youth Iftar 2011 USAID Jordan

USAID/Jordan invited over 250 Jordanian university students and religious leaders to a Ramadan Iftar on August 18th 2011. In his speech, USAID/Jordan's Acting Mission Director, Dr. Kevin Rushing, encouraged national dialogue around the development priorities and for youth to be active participants in the process to ensure the future prosperity of all Jordanians. He also emphasized that USAID is a committed partner in Jordan's development. Through its programs related to democracy and governance, economic growth, education, health care, and water and energy, as well as through cross-cutting youth and poverty alleviation programs, USAID is supporting the Government of Jordan's development priorities.
