This is Lena at her level 6 gymnastics meet. She won the all around! Lena was diagnosed with type one diabetes when she was four years old and is on an insulin pump. She is an inspiration to other children with type 1 diabetes. She trains in the gym 22 hours a week and is very happy and healthy!
wow Lena! amazing! My daughter Kallyn was diagnosed a few months ago. She won't even go back to gymnastics because she is scared of what her team mates will think. This video showed her that you can be a diabetic and still pull through.

My daughter is a Level 6 gymnast and she just turned 10. She was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at 7and a half. I would love to know how you deal with the pump and gymnastics. You are a great gymnast, keep up the good work
