@Partymanronnie To each his own my friend, to each his own.

@Partymanronnie yeah, you also kill the weight distribution from all the weight in the rear, to the front.. and you would add about another 500 pounds
-
a rotary engine in it would be nice to(11.000 rpm). but in a beetle you just need a engine in the back of the car (just my opinion)

Awesome!

I seen on that show Jesse James took a bug with a scat motor and trans set up and added a turbo and was running in the low nines , so I say leave the Chevy motor in the Chevy and see what it takes to get nines out of it besides putting the motor in a bug . vdub don`t need no stinkin chevy motor !

@jdubcbr600 Tirbo kit T3/4 hybrid cost on Ebay about $ 900.00 intercooler if needed average 275 bhp a few years ago $ 2200.00 gas prices have brought down the cost of Turbo kits now a days

But at the end of the day, who else can say they have a 355 Powered Beetle?
-
@Partymanronnie So whats a turbo kit cost these days for a bug? As much as that guys got in his small block Chevy?
-
@Partymanronnie Instead of a turbo you could tune it to run on nitromethane and make it even quicker... and much less reliable. lol
I'm sorry but that's retarded...as much money and time it takes to modify a bug to put a small block in the front, it would have been a hell of a lot cheaper to just put a big 2332cc turbo motor and you run the 1/4 mile a hell of a lot faster. When I see early model bugs at the drag strip & shows chopped up to do shit like this it makes me sick at my stomach. Plus in my eyes its not a Volkswagen no more.

really...ummmm....sorry but your wrong. A bug with a turbo 2332cc would out run that bug. So no its not useless.
