As some of you may notice - Sergej himself is not paying attention to the conductor.
One could imagine the reasons for that.

He plays a Bb Flugel with a fourth valve to play the low notes. He ought to be able to play all the way down to Db2.

however, He seems to have a larger flugel so it may be in a different key
