  • You didn't use Windows Live Movie Maker right? Cuz I'm trying to edit my 3ti movie files there and as soon as I import them, they can't be played...a red "X" shows up like telling me "you can't play here" so I'm assuming it doesn't support such files so I was wondering if you know a converter I could use to change the .mov to a file that can be supported by Windows Live Movie Maker?

  • @acalvarado7 I used WLMM to edit the video. That's strange because I didn't convert the video files at all before importing them into WLMM. But I did use a fairly small video size to film the video (1920x1080 in this case). It could also be a region thing -- I live in Australia, where videos are shot in PAL. I don't know any 'good' converters out there because there are so many out there that I've installed without any luck. If you still have problems, I can give you more details.

  • Wait, do you know the difference between PAL & NSTC?

  • @leenybabaee They're different video formats. I use PAL because I live in Australia.

  • Well when I tried editing my video, it says WMM isn't compatible with .MOV files. Is your settings are on NSTC or PAL? do you use a converter to edit your videos on WMM?

  • @leenybabaee Hmm weird, my videos import just fine. My settings are in PAL. I don't use any converter before editing in WMM.

  • @leenybabaee The recording quality was1920x1080 25fps. Why can't you edit yours on WWM? File not opening? Or does it crash as soon as you start editing?

  • what video setting did you use for your t3i because i can't edit mine on windows movie maker.

  • lol it looks like some scary movie with the music.... like something going down haaha I tell you that tattoo is changing you lmao
