How come hundreds come out after this happened? Where were they before? Where are they now.........most probably forgot about this incident a few days later. Sad but true. I hate seeing Jesse Jackson's face pop up AFTER a tragedy. What's he doing before crap like this happens?

Similar tragedies are happening with alarming escalation here in Britain.Kids are killing kids,without any sense of the consequences.Social commentators,diversity groups,MAM,Mothers Against Murder,they all say the same thing.It's the ultimate responsibility of the parents to raise their kids correctly.But,how do these parents monitor their kids 24/7?! We are losing a generation of kids,and for what?!

Since you're so good with numbers and stats! PLese! tell me how many "white/.Hispanics, killed black people in the same period?" My guess would be 1 in 100 if that much! My point is, like the gentleman said! It's blacks killing blacks! who's to blame? The mayor? the cops? the President? Again, parents need to take responsibility for their children! No education or law will ever stop violence among kids! It starts and ends at home! Like it or not!

There were over 14,000 murders in the United States last year, and over 500 murders last year in Chicago alone. You realize both of these numbers exceed how many americans die in afghanistan each year. I'm not making a political statement here, I just thought this was interesting stat. I'm pretty sure the number of people living in Chicago exceed number of troop fighting taliban, which tames it down a little.
