Do you still use the electronic throttle body?

Is it possible with stand alone ecu?

I want to use a VEMS ECU but they said that it can not be used in combination with a electronic throttle body.Do you know?

@mazdabully Yes I still use electronic throttle body... Car is tuned using Cobb AccessPort

@alphabravo279 your its your first car your better off with the 200sx cheaper to take car of good MPG Rx8 is terrible MPG you must know alot about the rotray engine and inssurance is pretty expensive ....i just worried about the cars engine so might as well get a nice 4 cyl car ....becuase with the rx8 there alot of things you must know

@Jea629, how long did the kit take you to install? It has been about a year and a half since this video, do you have any dyno # or any more info to show on the kit? I was looking at the Greddy kit my self. I am going to use the plug and play wiring harness they have with their EMC, I've also seen Emersil turbo kit, in person and I was wondering which do you think is better reliability. I've been searching the web n RX8 forums for info, but everyone W/O a turbo chims in. Thanks for any advice!

@alphabravo279 I suggest a basic 4 stroke cylinder engine. This is a rwd, front engine so maybe look into a Nissan 240sx, a E30 BMW, a Mark III Toyota Supra, or a Mazda Miata. Those are all pretty basic cars to start with, i assume your 16. Any questions?
