Souled out and Space-Faced, David wows America in 1974. Visionary theatrics and mesmerizing vocals ensure that Ziggy is still very much in the building, we didn't lose him after all (phew)!.

  • @BowieGirley Love Bowie but you have to credit Cab Calloway with the first moonwalk back in the 1930's.

  • @BowieGirley i think chuck berry did it too'

  • @BowieGirley Not the first, don't forget Cab Calloway.... or even Billy Thorpe.... MJ was way way way behind

  • I Think this Live Song is better than the original... LOVE IT!

  • I am a HUGE michael jackson fan, but I seriously had no idea that this was where he got the moves. I mean, David Bowie is, like, the last person I think of when someone says "Michael Jackson", haha !

  • @BowieGirley Not the first musician, but the first ROCK musician.

  • I wouldn't say the Diamond Dogs tour was his peak. That goes to Station to Station. Hands down this is a great live version but for me I would say anything around the Thin White Duke era was him in his prime.

  • Thanks for this one, as you can imagine I like it, OK he doesn't sing the chorus as good as the record, but hell this is the DD tour, his peak, and the peak of all rock music, he's at his other-worldly 70s best.

  • @BowieGirley Nah, his the first ever rock musician to do it lol.

  • Is it just me, or is he extra sexy when he does his dancing at the beginning? No WONDER David Bowie de-virginised my ears... and eyes. I mean, I'd heard music before.... but not music good enough to warrant as de-virginise my ears. And I'd seen good looking guys before... but never as gorgeous as Bowie, and never as out there as he. No one marsh-walks quite like Bowie. That was simply magic. <3 Very jealous of that person at 3:06!
