Chip loves getting his ear scratched so much that he makes this high pitched squeal whenever I hit "just the right spot" on his ear.

  • @cory2146 Are you...retarded?

  • @gmonday Most of the time it's when a baby falls out of a tree or is otherwise abandoned by it's mother for some reason. The two my family has had came from friends who found them and knew that we kept many pets at our house. And asked if we'd take care of them. The first squirrel we had we named Nellie, after the guy who found him. The next was Theodore. They can make good pets but they are still wild animals and should not be taken unless they have no other chance at survival.

  • @totallytommy do you let him outside?

  • @TheBlacksabbathfan9 "So cute but I thought it was illegal to keep a wild animal"

People often end up with wild rodents they've reared, that can't be released into the wild. If the animal is far from endangered, and often considered a pest, the powers that be don't mind if they end up as pets, so long as they're properly cared for. I have four mice and two voles, courtesy my cats. My oldest vole turned three (years) early last month. Three months in the wild would be it.

  • i love it its awesome

  • @totallytommy Dude thats was a good comeback i laughed my ass offf :) and how is chipster doing now?

  • where do you get your squirrels?!

  • your so luck! He's adorable! I think its just about every ones dream to have a pet squirrel! lol :)

  • @vxxlxD3MONxlxxv Usually where there are more people gathered the better accustomed wild animals are to human presence. Same goes for birds. I see them at the train station all the time walking the ramps literally right now to humans.
