Man I like the vids. I really have to wonder why not all crossings use gates though? Gates + Bright LED Lights (less chance of being burnt out) and Horns = less chance of fatalities. Screw all those people who say the horns are noise pollution. They save lives.

@PJD1987, I was just through there today. Looks like they are going to reroute 13 straight to 67, taking it out of town. They are raising the road level with the crossing so that it won't be a ramp like it was. I might try to get there this weekend to get some videos of the crossing before the upgrade the lights. They've already installed the new cabinet.

@wisecrac99 They've been widening roads and stuff for years. Right now the section of 13 is cut off right by 67........ Pissing me off. lol

Great video, I live about an hour away from Fortville and was out there yesterday, saw 4 trains, and what all runs through there? Is it just CSX?

Mostly all CSX, with some NS peppered in and an occasion stray of just about everything else.
