You've probably been asked by people if you're on Skype. Maybe you've seen it on Oprah as people do interviews from home on her show. Simply put, Skype is a video conferencing and collaboration tool that's cheap and easy to use.

In this segment we'll go over how Skype looks and how to make calls between computers and mobile phones. Calls between computers are video calls, so there's sound and the ability to chat, see the person on the other end and even send files back and forth. In addition, Skype has the ability to have a conference call with up to 24 people at a time, all for free.

If you're a business owner then Skype is certainly worth looking at. Imagine giving your employees the ability to video chat to and show the progress of a project to fellow workers. It can even allow users to share desktops and include people on the road with a mobile version of Skype.

Going to the mainland on a business trip or have friends and family who live there? Get them on Skype and be amazed at how well it works.
