I'm not sure, but he may already join in the marches for gay rights. If he doesn't , then he should. Also, it takes a certain amount of money and status witihin the community to successfully run for office. Regardless, he's talking about issues that do need to be discussed. You may be right about his intentions. But as long as he keeps discussing issues that are important, his personal motives do not matter to me.
