You guys should be quiet. Gavaskar was one of the classiest men and one of the only cricketers to beat windies fast quartet to a pulp on West Indian soil. I am a West Indian and yes I saw it. Sunny and a guy named Mohinder Amarnauth were probably the two Indians to bat pace so comfortably.
That was obviously a wrong decision by the umpire as well.

no matter how wrong the decision, as a batsman you cant do that.Being an INDIAN, i admit this is so unprofessional behaviour by gavaskar.Never saw him playing live as i this era was before my birth.So dont know what type of character he was...like the way the australian bowler touched his pad to make him even more silly.....hahahhah
