  • Yes, a clear story. Learning disability caused by bullying. I think not only memory but intelligence itself may be involved. These effects should be measured in research properly.

I am a grown up and was never bullied in school, but only lately at age 45-47 am being humiliated by children regularly due to circumstances. I noticed my mental capabilty to deal with this diminishing instead of improving at every next bullying challenge.

This kind of bullying always takes you by surprise.

  • Thank you for sharing that. Until the effects of stress and trauma are resolved and healed, they accumulate, causing a worsening of symptoms, like the "diminishing mental capability" you describe.I wish you the very best with what you're dealing with. My books and resources will help you know where to turn.

  • THIS IS NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH SO SO SAD FOR REAL

  • She makes some great points and the results of bullying can be very similar to the effects of PTSD. I invite you to check my channel for the video trailer for my bullying book Hot Issues, Cool Choices.

    Thanks!

  • That is so sad. I go to a really good school where not a lot of bullying happens. I'm sure there is some bullying going on, but for the most part people will stick up for one another and stop that kind of abuse. It is a supportive environment, I wish everyone could have that kind of experience. It saddens me that people have to go through these horrible times and be afraid to even be themselves in school. It isn't right.

  • Reggie Melrose is really onto it.
