@tarkeke Zeta Gundam and Space Runaway Ideon come close, but Evangelion as a whole is just incredibly raw. I love it, even if it makes me feel terrible. I feel like I learned a lot about myself when I finished it.

This is, in my opinion, THE best anime to have ever been made.
Lot of representations throughout the whole story.
Just need to understand the first series before watching 1.0~End.

@Afoxi when I watched the ending of the series I felt like shit. I don't think I've ever seen a movie, or read a book that gets as depressing as this series. But in a good way^^

@milive31 1.0 was the theatrical release
1.11 was the blu-ray release
BR release had extra scenes
so download 1.11 but not 1.01, I think that 1.01 was a straight dvd from the theatrical release
