Ahmadi Muslim Nobel Prize Winner in Physics

A rare video of the Nobel Laureate in Physics 1979; Professor Dr. Abdus Salam (an devout Ahmadi Muslim) giving a lecture. He was a firm believer of the fact that there is no contradiction in the word of God and the work of God, and that religion has no contradiction with rationality. On the contrary true religion leads to true rationality.

We should respect Abdus slaam's knowledge. Please do not ignore his contribution in field of physics. He was a great scientist. But getting Nobel Prize does not make anyones religion right otherwise Christian/Jews Nobel Laureates are far more in number then from any other religion. Does it make their religion true? This is the question of faith and every person has right to select his religion. Allah Say in Quran "There is no compulsion in religion, truth stands out clear from error".

@hammd123 Late Dr. Abdus Salam was unique in many respects. Firstly he was the first ever Muslim to ever achieve this highest international award in the field of science. Secondly he received this prize at a time when Muslims as a whole had completely lost their way in the field of science. Thirdly, he is the only nobel laureate who always maintained that it was the Holy Quran that led him to the conclusive theory that led him to achieve Nobel prize. 13 million jews gives you 166 Nobel Prize winners.

Make of this what you will, but the difference is staggering, and some of the reasons are pretty much apparent for everyone to see. One of the clearest and less controversial would have to be the fact of how far too many muslims obsess over certain groups of people and create conspiracy theories, blaming all their faults on them rather than working to grow better as people.

@mumtazmughal According to one hadith of Muslim, the coming "Jesus" had to be a Nabiullah (Prophet of Allah). Holy Prophet used this word Nabiullah not once but four times in that hadith. If you think honestly then you will see that we have no difference between us with regards to the topic of Finality of Prophethood. The difference is only in the identity of that "Jesus" who was supposed to come in the ummah of Holy Prophet. The verse under discussion doesn't talk about Muslim converts!

@mumtazmughal Just for your information, Quran instructs us that there are people even among from Christians and Jews who are God fearing and Muslims in essence. They believe in unity of Allah, answerability and do good works. According to Quran it doesn't matter if they are Jews, Christians, Sabians or whatever. They will be rewarded by Allah if they have such beliefs. Now if there can't be any prophet of anykind after Holy Prophet, then what about PROPHET JESUS who you await AFTER Holy Prophet
