  • You make my head spin 'round right 'round like an old record...

  • your screen is true 3d because you can walk around it in your room and see the backside of it

  • @badmonkeyballplayer lol. true sort of. it's still just an illusion (but you obviously knew that). And the same thing can be done in flash . . you would simply need to draw the different perspectives yourself

  • @wasserbrunner Use 3DS Max to make a shape.

Clone it to the right side. If they looks the same, spin the right shape a little.

I think now you will see 3D when you cross your eyes

  • @badmonkeyballplayer Neither drawing programs like Flash, or 3D modeling programs like 3DS Max create true 3D. 3D can't truly exist if it is being displayed on a 2D monitor.

  • @Optics233 You understand 3D, but you don't understand true 3D and Fake 3D

Since this animation is created using flash 8, so there's no way you can make a real 3D animation, it's using 2D drawings, creating a 3D effect, while it isn't REAL 3D.

  • @badmonkeyballplayer I don't think you understand what "3D" means. 3D means a depiction of three dimensions. This video depicts an X, Y, and Z axis, therefore it is a three dimensional portrayal.

  • @badmonkeyballplayer yes, but that's not what i meant. i meant that "real" 3D is literally impossible, even when creating 3D models, because screens are not 3D, they are 2D. thanks for the comments

  • @wasserbrunner If your techquine on using AS3 is very strong and good, you might actually make a 3d head

This is flash 8 so there's no 3d, all pictures are 2d, but after CS3, there is AS3 which can let us create actuall 3d images, so if you actually get use of AS3, you will no longer think that this is real 3d

  • @badmonkeyballplayer there was no better way to describe it. besides, "real" 3d is not actually any more 3d than this (. . . because screens are 2d :P). thanks!
