Bestop shows how to quickly lower and raise the soft top on a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (JK).

This works for the factory top (made by Bestop for Jeep), or our Supertop NX tops.

  • I kinda dig the fastback look on the JK, especially since the hard top is a square back. it offers a different look at the cost of some interior volume.....top removal time has never been an issue, except in the days of snaps on the CJ models....that sucked!

  • @conrman

The "fastback" look is available with our Trektop NX top. It's great looking, especially on the 4 door (in my opinion). It is a little slower to fold down, since there aren't any bows helping the process. But not a lot slower. It's a great top.

My first Jeep was an old Jeepster Commando, and it had snaps all around the back, so yeah, I agree about that!

    Cheers!

  • YA, BUT YOUR A SAMSQUNCH!

  • @CARPSPUDPICKER : Spoken like someone who lives in a Sunnyvale trailer.

  • what does JK mean >?

  • @bastaki22

"JK" is short hand for the newest model of Jeep Wrangler. Any Wrangler made from 2007 is a JK. A four door JK is officially called a "Wrangler Unlimited."

The previous model of Wrangler, made from 1997-2006 was called the "TJ."

  • Its easier then my CJ. I'm betting in new top even a new top on an old jeep would be easier then mine.

  • This guy is like 8 feet tall, its def not that easy for someone under 6ft

  • @CARSPUDPICKER

"Its a samsquinch Ricky and theres one outside taking the softop off his JK right now."

  • I'm happy with my Freedom Hard Top as I know to many that have had their soft tops slashed or screwed with.

  • In a Cadillac all you do is press a Button. Now that is easy.

  • I think I'll just keep the top up

  • Do it while it is raing in a suit then reamke the video!

  • @johnson200gw dont keep anything valuable that would make someone want to get inside. i leave my jeep unlocked because i would rather have my 30$ radio stolen than my 70$ door skin getting slashed.

  • seems like the back side windows are too easy to take off..does that not leave the jeep open to robbery? or does the tension of the soft top hold them there until loosened near the windsheild? jw thnx

  • To much work it dont look that easy to me
