  • "Toughest vehicle in the world". I CALL BULLSHIT. It's a stock Wrangler with some lame MW3 badging on it. My heavily modified 1990 Suzuki Vitara would dominate this Jeep in a comp.

  • I love my jeep i flipped it three times off roaring and my friends and I flipped it on it's wheels again and drove off. Jeeps are the toughest

  • Nice car but i would add some bullet proof doors and windshields....for a reason.

  • @kabodkhwaamkhid We also need to separate Toyota's reliability based stuff too their "70" or a least trucks. They sell a lot or cars and it seems that references base most of their info on the relilability of their cars.

  • @kabodkhwaamkhid Lets keep this fun .... here is on link on the engine: wards auto .com/ar/names_best_engines_101207and though the article you linked did praise the "70" it also stated the jeep has better performance, but the "70" had a great combo of their criteria. Here in the US toyota tends to be more expensive to repair and, according to the mechanics I know, difficult to repair when actually in a "current" offroad situation.

  • Please, sources. Otherwise this just turns into an argument based on hearsay.

Additionally, it might be useful to point out I'm referring to a global market whereas you may only be thinking of jeep in the North American market.

  • @kabodkhwaamkhid Toyota does have a decent shelf life, but as I understand it, they are more expensive to fix, especially when you are talking about damage incurred during off road. Now ... Jeep does retain a HIGH resale value, they retain their overall value, you can easily obtain loads of replacement, and aftermarket replacement parts in the event of an offroad mishap, and Jeep has legendary reliable offroad capability. This is compared to the general Toyota product. Thanks

  • @AdventureCowBoy1 Most recent source, among others (and though it doesn't reference the 70-series Land Cruisers it does reflect Toyota's reputation for reliability) is the latest J.D. Power Vehicle Reliability Report for 2012.

  • HOLY MOTHER BEEEEEEP
