My partner and I drove down from Mammoth Lakes to Las Vegas via Death Valley. It doesn't come out in the video, but it was really bumpy and really dusty (see the huge trail of dust in our wake).

I'd really recommend doing this drive (especially if you can do it in a rental 4X4 so you don't mess your own car up). the unpaved section is basically 3 hours of pure fear and excitement mixed together.

  • Hi. I thought about doing it in a rented Sports Convertible. No idea?

  • I think that would be a very bad idea. :)

  • Do you remember what the name of this road was? Or where it started and/or ended?

  • @gillesbertacco those roads are dusty as hell, best thing to do is keep your windows up if you want to breath air...not dirt.
