@MESSier1188 I did see what happened in Brooklyn. However if you spray a guy with a hose with superheated gear, even when it's not on fire, it may just be smoking a little, it WILL give worse burns than if you remove the gear carefully. There should be another guy around with gear and gloves on to remove the other guys gear. There is a video that shows how to remove superheated gear properly. PM me and I'll send it to you.

I don't care if my training officer did tell me to go in, I would stay out. You could try to knock the fire down with your nozzle, but there is no chance of saving the building. Awful training.

@nateyg00 Your worried about a RIT team and training? You could have all the fucking training in the world it would not let you safely ENTER that structure. You can't train fireproof.

Still did any other firefighter catch the big mistake after the guys were pulled out? Hmm? Probably 80% of firemen don't know this but you don't turn a hose on a guy who is wearing superheated bunker gear. Guy gets worse burns cause the water compresses the air barrier inside the suit and thus worse burns.
