Philmont Fire Destroys Home-Lance Wheeler Video

Philmont, Columbia County

9 volunteer fire companies from throughout Columbia County fought thick, heavy smoke and flames Wednesday afternoon. They were unable to save the home at 59 Main Street, was called into 911 dispatchers just before noon.
The owner of the home, Jean Giblette, and her husband run two web base businesses. Firemen were able to
save one of the computers from the burning building. Neighbors say the couple had been doing extensive repair work.
