I'm going to get crucified for saying this, but as stupendous as Vengerov is with his musicality and technical ability, in this piece at least it sounded as though he was running ahead of the tempo by played some areas a little too quickly for my liking. Over familiarity I guess. Near flawless execution as we have come to expect from the likes of Vengerov, but maybe a little too enthusiastic and exuberant this time around.

Apesar de eu achar Vengerov um dos melhores violinistas que ja vi não gosto muito dele interpretando os grandes concertos para violino como Beehoven,Brahms,Tchaikowsk eo proprio Mendelssohn gosto de tocando mais acompanhado do piano e tambem tocando concertos mozart sonatas de beethoven etc. E as vezes acho tbm que ele exagera muito nas expressões faciais e corporal.Hoje em dia gosto muito do Leonidas Kavakos, Hilary Hahn, Frank Peter Zimmermman em muitos aspectos eles são melhores que Vengerov

Y para que hablar de Vengerov, mi ídolo absoluto. Yo no puedo morir sin antes conocerlo en persona. Todo lo toca perfecto, y es mas conmoverdor. El concierto para violín de Mendelssohn es simplemente maravilloso, sobre todo este movimiento.
