PLEASE REALIZE XANAX IS NOT A GOOD RECREATIONAL DRUG...its EXTREMELY physically addictive and when dependant...quitting is almost impossible...it effects your CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM...over time your motor neurons sloooow down and you can have seizures and even die trying to quit. good luck to all please dont take xanax...your better off just dealing with a panic attack...or try smoking weed.

I would like somone from the media to contact me to explain how a person who is addicted to Benzodiazepens and all the medical facilities in Michigan such as Brighton Hospital, UofM, St. Joseph Mercy, Beaumont treat the addictions - one hospital recommends one year of Phenobarbital as treatment - this is at St. Joseph's Mercy in Ann Arbor - one of the best.. No one knows how to treat addiction in Michigan. Point of Return in California was the biggest help and the only way is tapering.

@GanjaEclectus While I do agree with you that it's absolutely outrageous that cannabis is illegal, you do have to recognize that alprazolam and similar benzodiazepines are typically extremely effective at offering short term treatment for patients with chronic anxiety disorders, without many harmful side effects.

I've been fuckin' with heroin since i was 16, opiate withdrawal IS HELL. But you know what? It aint SHIT COMPARED TO BENZO WD! It's a walk in the park. Most opiate people seem to think there's no worse WD and don't believe benzo wd is worse, but shit man benzo wd can kill you! Not to mention it takes WAY longer and people sometimes feel "off" forever.
