its a 160 gallon preformed pond from Home depot I think its only about 20" inches deep.

they say 20 gallons per fish is good, but all depends on filtration.

why do people hate algae for their pond? isn't it a good natural food for the fish?

@leofil578 yeah it is, but sometimes it just over takes the whole pond and filter system.

i have a pond to but it has alot of algae in it do you know a way to get rid of most of these NATURALLY?

@goldfishhobby Well for green water use a U.V or string algae get by hand and scrubbing and add some shade and plants

Yes they will! Good thing I don't have to worry about racoons where I live.

@007654567 Yup. Other animals like possums, neighborhood cats, foxes, and sometimes dogs will go after them too if they're small enough and slow enough to catch.
