Question...according to this, the SCTV parody came out in 1981, and 1984 came out, appropriately enough, in 1984, three years later. I wonder if Michael Radford had watched this parody.

@aperfectrain You mean censoring it? I think anything exposing our current political climate is needed and appropriate. SCTV certainly wasn't, and isn't, contributing to Right Wing ugliness - quite the contrary. Or did I misinterpret your meaning?
