"Wanted Man" - A "Save The Mole" Viral Video

Think the Mole's slippery? Nothing's more elusive than the 18-45 male demographic.

A mini-movie talking about ratings, the Mole, and why television executives can't hit the broad side of a barn, for the "Save The Mole" viral video contest.

Thanks to Television Without Pity and Bill McDaniel for turning me onto the show - I thought the idea of "The Mole" was stupid at first (and I am NOT a fan of 95% of the Reality TV genre out there) but something clicked around the time of the "Grapes of Cashe" mission.

Filmed using the Canon HV20 in 24p mode, edited (sloppily) using Final Cut Pro. Would have color graded in Apple Color, but I thought that was kind of overkill, and by the time it finished rendering, the finale would have aired.

Thanks! As a matter of fact, the HV20 turned out to be the perfect camera for the shoot. While it's got good color reproduction, it's one-chip (consumer) setup means that it introduces a heck of a lot of grain in low-light (such as mysterious parking garages). This doesn't show up as much on the low-rez version of YouTube, but the high-rez version, you can see some of it. The grain introduced gives it a more mysterious, "smoky" look. I probably would have done it in post if I had an XH-A1.

Thanks! The voice is mine, but slowed down and pitch-shifted down from my original "film noir" voice.

I actually have the voice of a 14 year old boy...
