Today (December 10th 2011), the last total lunar eclipse visible from anywhere on the planet was visible from the western United States, Asia, Oceania, Europe and Africa. The eclipse was visible from the United Kingdom from moonrise (1550 GMT onwards) however in my location (the western coast of Wales) as you can see from this video, all I saw was clouds.
