that is a early G4 model (2003) wich has the winch underfloor and no rack

As the rest of LR's, very capable vehicle

it´s a special Edition "G4"

but quite modified :-)

suspension, wheels, engine, interior, exterior ...

I remember going on a safari while on holidays on Portugal one year, they company's choice of vehicle was Defender 110's will bench seats the whole way down and while the other drivers went around a huge stone in the middle of the RoundAbout our crazy driver decided to rev the nuts off the Defender and drive over it :D

the idea of a defender is you get the basic truck and put on the extras you need so you dont pay for things you dont use. diff lockers are awsome but most dont need them. the bulk head is only missing in the staition wagon so you can get to the rear seats. and if LR galved all the weak points you would never need to buy a new truck. @lemintone that turbo sounds awsome has it got a dump valve on it or is it just the uprated tubo thet sounds awsome cos its lookin like a must have for my crew cab

Some things I'll NEVER understand about land Rover:

Why didn't they EVER have front and rear diff lock from the factory? Diff lockers are AWESOME when needed, and unlock them when not needed.

Why did they ever take out the behind the seat bulkhead in MOST defenders? The bulkhead makes the body stronger and easy to switch to a pick-up cab.

Why did they stop with galvanized windshield; bumpers and body cappings when they came out w/ Defender.

Piss-poor decisions in MY book. Any idea?
