I like the anger...but it is misplaced somewhat. The police were doing their job. We made them arrest us. They were so nice that they were chastised by their superior when we arrived at the precinct without me in handcuffs. It is the legislators who are against medical medical marijuana in states where there is movement to legalize it who need their asses kicked! In the time it took to write your responces, you could have emailed your outrage to your legislators. Give it a try.

Then we did the right thing, judging by your comments. You are SUPPOSED to be angry. Cheryl ate a marijuana bud rather than butter, her usual way if ingesting it. The purpose was to ensure getting arrested. Butter might not have done it. She couldn't smoke for health reasons.
They didn't know how to transport her or fingerprint her. Cheryl risked up to 6 months without me, her caregiver. She did so knowing that she would die without ever having legal marijuana. Thanks for your support.

Also do not neglect to support NORML. With more support this bedrock of the movement to end marijuana prohibition would be able to do a whole lot more.

Cheryl died in 2003. She made 9 trips to Washington DC while able only to move her head and most of the legislators, with the exception of a handful, ignored and delayed her (and many others) to death. Fuck Empire!
