I REALLY liked Buddy's tone when he was playing that Guild. He sounded so much rawer then. Since he started playing the Strat he sounds more subdued. Still awsome, just more subdued.

@teebeeferris I'm afraid Buddy was using a two-tone brownburst, maple neck, long before the Guild.....straight into a Bassman, no effects. This set-up would be just as effective today regardless of the musicians colour.
