Painting a Friesian horse in Photoshop - Part 1

About 5 hours of work compressed into two 10 minute video clips, here's part 1. This is by no means a tutorial, but more of a walkthrough to show how I usually work when creating a piece.

How did you get the line art? I mean, what tool did you use to 'grab' it, just the outline i mean.

No tool used. If you check my lineart in the making video, you'll see I drew the lineart by hand (or, with my trusty wacom tablet and pen lol) :)

Ok, maybe a stupid question for you.. But how much does a (average good) tablet cost?

No worries. ^^ I bought mine for about 900 Swedish Kronor (or roughly 100 USD) four years or so ago. I'd say it's a pretty average tablet, but it's never let me down so far. ^^

geez i just said i prefer the pic to the photo! any body can take a pic that good but it takes real talent to draw this in photoshop
