I just purchased one of these the other day and find it to be much better than the 7340 I was using. Not only do the triple track head shave much smoother more closely, the overall quality of the razor is much better. I believe the 7000 series is made in China while the 8000 series is made in Holland or France and uses higher grade plastic and metal that appears to be partially hand tooled.
