The Solar Decathlon is bolder, brighter, and more efficient than ever! 20 university teams from around the world have designed and built their ultimate solar home on the National Mall in Washington, DC.

We're taking a look at a team from each participating country. This video is about Team Germany from Technische Universität Darmstadt. They won the Solar Decathlon in 2007, and this year they're back with a super-powered solar design that generates enough energy for two houses.
