Im a massive fan of giorgio and im 18, and a woman came in my shop to fix her record player and this is what she had on the platter and was absolutley amazed to see it, especially it being so rare!
I was only 14 yrs. old when I first heard this, (and loved it immediately), but was intrigued by this weird sounding instrument heard throughout the song, only to learn it was the earliest version of the Moog Synthesizer...a sound that would ultimately revolutionize the world of pop music.
Calling this early disco is a new one on me. I thought it was just a great song. However, you might call it early synth-pop, or even new wave, but disco? It's too bouncy for disco. The synths, and airy drum sounds though, sound as new as they always did.
I was only 8 years old and l lived in RGA - Rio Grande Amado - when i heard it for the first time. Now, about 40 years later i'm rediscovering it again. Unavoidably i have to drink some cachaça right now. Valeu! Valeu! Thankss!!
Great tune...I like this one because its the one I had on a 45.

@FritzIdler1 I agree. It's not disco. Dance pop from 60's roots. Synthpop Godfather.
