Wow! Had no idea he had died .I knew he was around a couple years back. Back at the end of the 70's my friends and I were laughing our asses off to this guy. Dare To Be Fat was a fave and who coild forget Boogie Till You Puke. Hope he shakes hands with Screamin Jay Hawkins in the afterworld

@bobworthinton - the on camera guitarist is wayne 'twenty fingers' tomlinson (of the barbeque juiceheads), finger syncing perfectly to ernie 'sexray' lancaster's brilliant haunting solo. both are still around and playing.

I've been looking EVERYWHERE for Root's World War III. I would LOVE to find the song but even the lyrics are not around it seems. If ANYONE can help PLEASE DO....

You're in luck my friend! We're working on a World War III music video (with footage of Slim in the studio when he recorded it way back in '78) to coincide with a special collector's edition CD release of ZOOM which has been remastered from the original master and sounds fantastic! I filmed this in '92 when George the 1st was running against Clinton. Slim is spinning in his grave now that George the worst is running the country into the ground. Yes, there's more... stay tuned!
