I say a few things about the patch at the beginning-
the main difference in this video is the delay time modulation using the drum trigger and doepfer sequencer. A voltage controlled oscillator (in it's low range) has it's square wave output routed to the trigger/sample hold input of the rds8000 digital delay. This oscillator's pitch is controlled by the doepfer sample and hold module which is triggered by the clock divider and has random voltage for it's source. So, the time of the delay is changed with each hit of the drum trigger. I took a few minutes to get the doepfer and the juno sort of harmonizing before I filmed a short improvisation. me gusta automation.

  • Amazing. I wish i had your knowledge and equipment!

  • thanks man!

i collected this equipment over many years. usually i bought each piece because i wanted to solve a problem- or in the case of the juno, i just got lucky. but the key is that i didn't sell it, i learned how to use it instead!
