Fantastic song. Question: Levon Helm, drummer from The Band, clearly bears no love for Robbie Robertson. They won't be taking a house by the sea together anytime soon. Levon's bio, "This Wheel's on Fire" pretty much crucifies Robbie. Don't know how much is disgruntled ex-colleague stuff, how much is really true. But among other things, he says Robbie can't sing a note. But he sounds pretty good here, so is it really him, or a voice-over? Anyone know?

Runaway Album of the Year in Canada which produced several great bands at this time..The Hip come to mind. One of the finest albums I ever owned and most people have no idea it exists or who Robbie was before this album.

Nice to revisit this track, and it still oozes that "voodoo on the bayou" feel, 25 years later.

@Kook19 Hmm, cheesy? I get it, but it is a sexy song.This was written in the era--1987--it was the style of the times. Our current option,Justin Beiber "Don't hurt my feelings" sob, sob. So many artists now cannot write or sing -- pitch correction, loops, on an on... they will "rip off" other songwriters; Cry babies to the max.
