  • If you understand the physics of sound and resonance you will know that the sound/tone of a bodhran depends on the physical size, the quality of skin and the tension of the skin around the bodhran frame. Therefore the sound from this bodhran will be much different to what you are accustomed - it will have a higher tone and a much shorter note. Anyway, I can't play a bottletop, can you? I've even seen Kevin play a pinhead!!
