Miki Falls Speed Painting

Just a fan art. Me Speed Painting Mark Crilley's Character Miki, from his manga Miki Falls. The guy does all of the books by himself, cranking out up to 4 pages a day at times. Yet he still finds time to make drawing tutorial videos here on youtube. So as a show of my appreciation for him being an artist in touch with his fans, I made this fan art. I drew up a rough sketch of Miki with my Wacom tablet, and then the rest of the video is my noobtasic coloring skillz.

I didn't realize how awesome youtube was for tuts til my frined was like look at my first flash it's sweet, he was in his 3rd year at an art school. He showed me grass blowing in a breeze. I showed him My Mario Bros. version of Pac Man that I made about a month into flash & he was like WTF?! I'm so getting ripped off! But hey at least he now has "credentials". LOLz.
