2008 Harley Nightster

This is my Nightster. So far I have put on black forward controls, Stage 1 Screamin Eagle Kit w/tuner, skull gas cap, skull derby cover, skull timing cover, painted breather cover, and the black powder-coated Vance and Hines Short Shots. I love this bike.

Nice bike man, im also getting one soon with those killer willie g skull cover plates, v & h pipes and im also thinking of changing the seat to a more padded solo saddle as the standard seat doesnt seem to have the padding to compensate the sport suspension. One question: do the v & h pipes get in the way of the mid controls and make forward controls the better option? Is this why you changed them?...(ok, that's 2 questions!!)

I got the forward controls on my bike because I love the look. I do not know if the mid controls get in the way of the exhaust or not. Thanks for the comments. Ride safe...

I have a rookie's question, can you only change the stock exhaust to V & H exhaust? and not do anything else? the air cleaner, fuelpak, and etc. What's the standard parts that if you are change your exhaust to V&H? Thanks a lot!

I do not think that would be a good idea to put on the custom exhaust with out the breather kit and mapping. There will probably be some performance issues that you will not like. Popping and bad acceleration to name a few.

Hello. Did you pull out the baffles from the first vid? It sounds louder. I'm looking at getting used. Can you use what you have to switch back to middle controls or do you need to buy a kit? Thanks.

No the exhaust has no baffles. I believe that I used a different camera to take the two vids. Probably just the difference in audio quality.

I like the side shots in black by vance and hines...they have a better look, they are shorter, straight...and when you hit the throttle they spit fire! swweeeet!...LOL

about 1500 to add with the heavy breather + installation and dyno testing!

Those pipes were made for that bike. Good choice!
