On the night of 8 November, Lanreath village in the heart of Cornwall hosted a spectacular firework display for the people within the Parish. Three village groups organized the event, for which close to 200 people attended. Under a clear sky, families watched the display, lasting a little over ten-minutes, considered by all to have been a great success, and destined to become a yearly event. Held on the edge of the football field located at the village hall, the organizing groups provided food, drink and of course, monitors for the security of everybody watching.
