Why is Demelza kind of a fishwife, and insubordinate of Ross thru all his troubles? In the book she was a wise and supportive woman and wife, who ended up being smarter than her betters in so many ways. A small disappointment, but I LOVE this series and thankyou!!!
Not true at all. Watch it properly or preferably read the books. Drake and Geoffrey Charles are friends and that friendship continues to grow for many years, long after the situation with Morwenna reaches its conclusion.
@flibbertygibbet Right? I keep noticing how extremely paranoid this guy is. Ross' brothers-in-law move to the area and happen to be Methodists who want to set up a meeting house on the land, and this guy is sure that Ross has intentionally invited them to live here AND purposely try to set things up on the old piece of Poldark land that he has now, just to purposely drive Warlegan crazy. Even though Ross is not remotely religious himself and not a Methodist.
Oh I can't stand Demela, crying, getting whatever she wants...she is a fishwife

I just don't get this. The Christian is trying to get to the girl and using the boy to do so.

Warleggan can't handle money. It makes him cold and uncharitable.
