  • @machenderson I'm new to Country Music, grew up with Irish Music and the normal chart stuff. He's not really a household name, but sounds good to me !!!

Only discovered Tom T Hall the week before another artist not as famous as he should be !!!

  • @JohnInSale: Please dont take this the wrong way, but where have you been? This is the great Ray Price, known the world over, and @ 85 still going . Catch a show , you wont regret it.

  • Lovely song, first time i've ever heard his voice !!!

  • Superb version, although Cal Smith's is just about my favourite!

  • You are 2 lucky ladies. I hoped to be there also but the stars just weren't in the right place. I'm planning to see him in Mount Pleasant 4/14/12 at the Whatley Center. Can't wait!

  • MY DAUGHTER AND I SAW RAY PRICE, JAN. 12, 2012 (HIS 86TH BIRTHDAY) AT STAFFORD CENTRE, AND HIS VOICE WAS EVEN STRONGER AND MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN SOME OF HIS EARLIER RECORDINGS. HE SANG TO A SELL-OUT CROWD ON A COLD WEEK DAY. HE PLANS TO START RECORDING AGAIN THIS YEAR. I'M SO HAPPY BECAUSE I'VE ALMOST WORN THIN HIS CURRENT ALBUMS.

  • Oh my gosh, Ray knocked this out of the ball park!! Beautiful. Simply beautiful. Such an easy beat, gorgeous orchestration, suave singing, wonderful texture and timbre to his voice. Ray was at his peak. Thanks for posting!

  • Great memory :)

  • Doesn't get any better! I saw Ray for the first time at Y'Vonnes Club in Beaumont, Tx in 1966 and he just gets better and better!
