Flying at a Powered Parachute fly in at Quincy, Washington when 25-30 mph winds and gusts started. There were several PPC's in the air when it started blowing. Everyone landed safely! Was pretty bumpy! My top ground speed measured with my GPS was 55 mph down wind and only 4 against.
Thank Goodness everyone made it in safely..At 61 and handicapped, I think it woulda been a real trip for me trying to land in that...I've already sat 3 hrs waiting for the winds to drop to 5mph before going up...

I hate the wind as well. I could not imagine flying in that wind like that, at least it looks like it was consistent in the direction which had to help instead of being gusty all over.
