St. Patrick's Heritage Celebration at Tybee Island near Savannah, Georgia. There were Irish families, marching bands, bagpipers, floats, Alee Temple Shriners, and this year an added attraction was the world famous Budweiser Clydesdale horses. Southeast411 was there along with hundreds of spectators dressed in green to celebrate the "Irish" in all of us on St. Patrick's Day. We also have footage from St Patrick's Day Parade in Savannah right here on YouTube so be sure to look at our Other videos and be sure to check out upcoming events on http://www.Southeast411.com. • Why? Why is the bag pipe band playing "SCOTLAND THE BRAVE" in a St. Patrick's Day Parade????

  • ha ha, I actually wondered during the Savannah parade why so many played the Marine Corp hymn. I counted 3 that were playing it when they passed us on Bay Street. I guess they try to play songs that we know.

  • Maybe it's because Scotland and Ireland are physical neighbors, with a long shared history. I'm wondering why there are so many blacks, dancing like fools, in a St. Patrick's Parade.

  • There are people from all around the world of ever color dancing in the street on St. Patrick's Day in Savannah, Georgia.

You bet some make fools out of themselves. But most just have a very good time. Come join us next year!

  • Who are the marching band at 1:30 in the parade? QUALITY! Can you put up more?

  • That is Sol C Johnson High from Savannah, Ga
