This incredible performance, featuring nearly 200 voices of present Concert Choir members and visiting alumni, brought the audience to its feet during the Winter Choir Concert on Dec. 20, 2007 at Tualatin High School.

  • its so loud. like all of it. how is it a 300+ piece all state chorus can sustain a soft sound but only 200 cant? good nonetheless, but more dynamic range would be nice.

  • Two factors to consider with this performance: 1) The camera microphone automatically raised the volume when ambient sound dropped, and dropped the volume when ambient sound raised, which blurred the dynamics. And 2) Many of the performers are alumni, and on this night two years ago, some of them had not performed at all in close to a decade. Combining these two factors results in compromised dynamics on the recording, but it's mostly the first factor that rendered it what it is here.

  • It's obvious that the members of this chior are very passionate about their music. It shows through in every word and every song they sing. =]

  • I was looking for this arrangement! I sang this in HS and didn't remember who the composer was. Great job y'all :) The sound is wonderful and well rounded. Talented group of voices, keep up the good work!

  • Diferente, suave, mesmo assim agradável de ouvir.

  • Well, I first feel that the solo in the beginning could be much more relaxed and not so perfect rhytmically. just let it flow. another would be that the vowels are not that great and yes i understand that there are alumni that are singing that may not have sung in forever. finally, just too loud. i have performed this piece too many times to count, including the opening solo. an excellent version is by the Long Beach Concert Choir from Long Beach, Mississippi, I will try and get them to post it.

  • Well, it is a highschool choir, and and you have to imagine that 30 of them are unrehearsed.

  • D: That was beautiful.

  • Oh my gosh... I am speechless.

I want to be in this choir. :-/

  • A good sound, the soloists were not up to par, at all.
