Impossi Bill Braid by Robert Neale from Be Amazing Magic Shop

You borrow a dollar bill and give it a couple of tears and a bunch of folds and the bill is been braided.

The braiding is real although the bands have never been separate. No glue. No tape. No nothin'! Just a dollar bill. It looks impossible.

But, here's the thing I hadn't expected...

I've found that people really like to watch you make it!

But, either way, the result is a distinctive memento. It is, as Michael Weber says, "A bill that cannot be spent."

I can personally attest that people who get this dollar keep it!

I give it out with the tip at restaurants and even weeks later, when I return, I am remembered.

Just as a matter of ego I feel compelled to point out that I can fold this in less time than this video shows, I just happened to get hung up a bit this time. I kept this version of the video because if you like it in four minutes, you'll love that it can really be done in well under three minutes.
